Lucky Birthday

Here's a birthday card I recently made with a Meljen free digital image. I colored it with Copics and used a snippet of cool carribean that was embossed with a CB birthday folder. I also embossed a narrow strip of red with a Darice tiny star ef. The sentiment stamps are from Casual Fridays and I added a couple extra punched stars to the printed stars. I added some dots and spots with Casual Friday stamps and stamps by Judith. The final touch was a few mini brads in assorted colors just for fun.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

August ODBD challenge for OWH - stars

Shopping our Stash #162 - triple threat (I used at least 3 brads)

Snippet Playground #136 - use snippets

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Someone is going to be sorry they didn't check back on your blog candy. Yikes!

Now what better motif for a birthday card than a lucky horseshoe? And you got it free? WOW! Terrific - eye-popping card! TFS

Cute card and I love the little horseshoe! You always seem to be able to use the Happy Birthday embossing folder and it looks great. I always forget I even have mine. Thanks for joggling my mind.

It's not my birthday, but that lucky birthday card brought me some luck. Great card and the third time is a charm!

Fun card, Carol. I really like the colors and I love the way you added the stars on there. Sorry to hear that a couple of people missed getting your wonderful blog candy. Hope this third name will respond. Have a great Sunday. I'm back on the sofa with this pulled ligament for the day. Trying to mend so I can go to work tomorrow.
