G' Mornin' Sunshine!

I made a card with an image of myself for your amusement this morning lol!
Well actually, this isn't me because I don't use rollers in my hair anymore and I don't have a big pair of fuzzy slippers like this either. It would be me holding that morning cuppa coffee and lounging in my jammies though :)
This is an Art Impressions image that always cracks me up, and I made this for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - "You Gotta Have Friends." where they're featuring Art Impressions stamps. I used the colors of Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding for the Operation Write Home midweek throwdown color challenge. I distressed the edges of the panels to coordinate with the image which is a bit rough around the edges too! (giggle) I added some light spatters of matching ink around her head with a stick stamp by Judith, and a few matching mini brads randomly placed. The sentiment was computer generated.

If you're not a morning person, this card is for you! :)

Wishing you a day filled with smiles and chuckles! Thanks for stopping by as always!

Carol

Oh My Gosh, I could send this card just just about everyone I know. You and I are about the only morning people I know. I just love this one as well as your "rough around the edges" analogy. Love the dotting around the head,it adds quite a bit to the overall look. I think I know what Santa should bring you for this Christmas, some nice fluffy slippers just like these. I'm talk to him about that so you'd better be good. LOL Enjoy your day.

LOL!! LOVE this one Carol! I love all the AI stamps and this is one of my favorites! Love the colors you used on here too. Very cute!
This isn't me at all though.....I usually am in almost too cheerful of a mood in the morning - and it drives Jim nuts!

Really cute, Carol, that definitely could be me...I am NOT a morning person and I love my coffee...not sure where my curlers are...haven't worn them for years...but the packrat (in me) might still have them somewhere.

I'm not a morning person and need at least 2 mugs of coffee to get me going. Love the colours on this card and the distressing.

Gosh, I thought you'd slipped into my house and taken a photo! Don't use hair rollers any more either, but my hair sticks up just like that in the mornings. This is so darned cute and love the attitude of this ole grouchy lady. Makes me feel right at home. Terrific colors to soften her up too. WTGo on capturing the "Not for Mornings" persons! TFS & Hugs

This card made me laugh. I love the colors too. I'm not a morning person but I am up and at 'em in the morning because even more so I am not a late person. I hate it when coworkers use the excuse they aren't a morning person as to why they are late. Perhaps they'd like to try being an unemployed person??

OMGosh this card cracks me up Carol! Do people still use curlers?! I love them on this lady and I love her big fuzzy robe and furry slippers. I wish I could love coffee but I am not a coffee lover, so I would have a cup of water in my hand. lol I wouldn't have robe on either most likely or the furry slippers, but other than that it pretty much looks like I do when I get up too. lol Love the papers on this one. Hugs, Brenda
