OWH Sketch Challenge #225

Hello, and a very happy, sunny Sunday to everyone! Here's my card for the OWH Sketch challenge #225. This went together quickly for me with a cute Art Impressions image that I colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers and the papers are from American Crafts Soho garden collection. This really looks bright, but the background is a pretty magenta color, not hot pink as it looks here. When I turned the image over to apply adhesive, it happened! Oh smudge!! Right next to the doggie's cheek was a black ink smear! On an image panel this small it took some thought as to what I could cover it with! I broke out a tube of sequins someone gave me a decade ago and decided to use some assorted sizes & colors of hearts and stars to embellish this card. If you click the photo you'll be able to see them a little better.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

What a clever save, Carol. And, it's looks as if you meant to do that to begin with. Don't you just hate smudges? Of course, you do. LOL
Cute, cute card.

Have a wonderful Sunday. It has been raining here since Friday night. What an ugly weekend. But, looks like a fab week coming up and I'm so happy.

Nice job! I haven't figured out what to do with all those circles yet! I guess I should do some posting just so you guys know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth....

This is really cute, Carol! I seem to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to cover up my smudges, too, and you've done a great job with it here!

Love the sequins and what a great save. I may CASE this sketch as I'm rather lacking in ideas. I like the different patterns of paper together.

Super cute card, Carol and a wonderful save with your sequins. Love the background paper no matter what color it is. We are having a nice day so far but it is going to rain in a while they say. Enjoy your sunny day.

Cute card...and you are not the only one who accidently gets smudges on their cards...but I'm not usually as clever as you were with this one to cover up my mistakes.

Great combination of papers, and that cute pooch is a real gem. I make smudges all the time, and this was a good save, my friend!

One would have been none the wiser if you hadn't told us about the smudge Carol, what a fabulous save!! I love that background paper and color, your image is just too cute and if his little ears flopped over he would be a great look alike for my sweetie dog. lol I love how you placed him on a banner/tag and I am so loving that paper too!! Your sequins came in handy and made for such a festive fix! They all look like they belong there! Hugs
