Uneggspected

It's a new month and that means there's a new digi challenge over at Deedee's digis. If you played along last month, you've already received this months digi stamp set in your email. If you didn't get to play along last month, you can still earn this set free with a $10 purchase or you can purchase it for a reduced price for the remainder of the challenge this month. Check here for all the details.

This set is called "Uneggspected" and has 2 images and 5 sentiments. I chose the pre-colored digi and added some more color of my own, by using Copics and glittered pens. The grass was added with a die, and I added some soft blue satin ribbon that picks up the colors of the egg. The background paper is a big soft polka dot pink from K&Co and I added a few Geo Sparkler stickers to the sentiment panel. The metal ribbon ring has been in my stash for years, so I'll be adding this card over at the Shopping our Stash #140 Heavy Metal challenge.

We got lucky and only got a dusting of snow overnight, so I'm beyond happy that they got the forecast wrong here in PA! Whew! We dodged that one thank goodness :)

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Monday!

Oh, what a fun and adorable card, Carol. Cute image!! I really like that clip with your ribbon. I am quite sure I have some of those from long ago, too.

Glad your big snow stayed away. We didn't get the ice we could have had, either....so glad.

What a fun card! I like the big polka dots of the background paper. It makes me think of Easter (which I suppose is the point in an Easter card). I have one of those clip things from long, long ago too.

This is such an adorable card! Great image and sentiment and love that spiral metal ring looks perfect in the corner! Thanks for playing along with the metal challenge at Shopping Our Stash!

We dodged the bullet also here in MD. They were predicting 5"-10" of snow, but we only got 3". Shew!!! I'm sooooo ready for Spring!
