Soft Yellow Color

I made this pale yellow & white birthday card with 2 Memory Box butterfly dies, the Vivienne and Darla. I used a pearlized white card stock and some pastel yellow textured cardstock. The background was embossed with a SU! Decorative Dots ef, and I added a SB fancy tags two shapeability die for the sentiment. The small layered butterflies were done with Punch-a-Bunch punches. The ribbon is SU! daffodil. I'm thinking that tiny butterfly might look better with a tiny pearl in the center?

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

The Card Concept #6 Birthday Cards - clean and layered style

The snow pretty much fizzled out for our area in PA yesterday and it turned out to be just a very light dusting. Am I grateful? You bet I am! LOL My daffodils are up about 6" in the back yard in spite of a temperature of only 24 this morning, so spring must be on the way!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Carol

Your colors speak Spring for sure, Carol. I love that pretty yellow color and the butterflies.

So glad you only got a light dusting of snow. Yippee!! It was going down to 25 here last night and I had about 3 pretty daffodil blooms left so I broke them off and put them in a vase inside where it is warm.

I think that tiny butterfly looks just fine without a pearl. In fact, the whole card is so soft and beautiful. Love all the yellow!
Bring on spring!

Very pretty card with a soft sweet touch to it. Our snow fizzled out also, but we are experiencing some very high winds today. We were just saying at work yesterday that we are waiting to see a daffodil. None yet here. Have a great day.

Wow, that was fast. Welcome in as the 1st entry and what a gorgeous card this one is. Love the pastel yellow colour and the pretty butterflies. I have the Pippa and matching Isabella dies and love using them as they are a dream to die cut. Thank you for fluttering in for #4. Hugs Mrs A. (Butterfly challenge).

Let's hope this pretty spring card will hasten some good weather over your way. Love the butterflies and EF.
Glad to hear the snow did not stick and that your daffodils survived. My daffs are still green sprigs poking their way up wards!

What a beautiful card, so soft and springy. I know we haven't had the same type of winter as y'all have, but it wasn't until these past couple of days that I felt that we don't need to stay braced for weather insanity here. That means spring is really here...!!!!

Especially love this particular MB butterfly set. Great S/B tag for your sentiment, and a pretty touch to add the tiny b/flies as trim. Gotta hustle to get the Yellow Butterfly done, right after I manage Rudolph day! TFS & Hugs
