Hearts, Stripes, and Spots

We're house bound today with icy conditions outside, so I'm parked at my craft table making cards again. I'm not complaining because I'm VERY grateful that we haven't lost power! I pulled out this overlooked HM stamp along with some Echo Park & Bo Bunny papers and put together a little Valentine card. The larger panel is a journaling card that I've had forever, and just couldn't figure out how to use it...until today. I realized that this image would fit nicely on it, so I added a mat of dsp that matches the horizontal border, along with some black cardstock and ribbon and called this one done. The background embossing was done with a Darice ef.

I'm entering this into the following 3 challenges:

HMFMC162 - "Love" themed card
Shopping our Stash #137 - Love or Valentine's day (stash item is the                                                   journaling card)
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Have a heart on your creation

This one was made for the Cards4Guyz#4 challenge to use Spots and Stripes. This Bo Bunny Liberty paper worked perfectly for the challenge. I punched stars with a Punch-Bunch and SU! punches, and die cut one with a Sizzix die, crimping and adding a star brad. The sentiment is from Hero Arts done in navy blue. The red gems are stickers from my stash I've been trying to use up!

Last but not least is my card for the Tuesday Morning Sketch #235. I used this adorable PB image, coloring with Copics and adding remnants of dsp from Echo Park and Bo Bunny. The sentiment is from SNSS layered on SU word window and fancy label punches.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day in spite of the weather!

Carol, they're all nicely done cards...but the last one is my favorite it's such a sweet image.

Glad you still have electric...I was wondering...smile...My brother who lives near the mall is out of electric for several hours now, and so is one Thursday night crafting buddy...I know you know where she lives...out of electric since this morning.

Well Carol, we both survived so far with just a few aches and pains.

You did a slam bang job on these cards. Jill likes the last one and I'm partial to the first one. All three are cute.

I'd say hugs but that hurts too much right now. Blessings.

I'm also glad you didn't lose power. We haven't either as of yet. Three marvelous cards. I love the House Mouse card with those beautiful papers. The black ribbon against the pink is just stunning. Your second card is an ideal guy card. Whoever gets this one with know he is a star. Your third card with those precious PB cuties is such a sweet card. I love the papers and colors you used on this one. A lot of challenges benefited from your snow day today as did a lot of us friends. Have a good night my friend.

Well! You certainly have used your time well being snowed in. Look at all these wonderful creations! I love the sweet little House Mouse and that pink paper with the white lacy ribbon look to it. That's the mouse I was hoping to get at Hobby Lobby. I really, really like the stars and strips and spots card. It is a good masculine card for sure! The sweet Penny Black is a winner too. WOW! Go You!
