HMFMC161

The challenge over at the House Mouse challenge HMFMC161 is to use a new stamp you've never used before. This was a stamped image I've had for several years. I didn't use it because it's stamped on cardstock that doesn't adapt to Copic blending, so it's just been collecting dust. I pulled it out and colored it the best I could and made a card with it. Both the purple and green dsp's are from PTI, while the purple was from my stash. The sentiment is from SU! done with 4 different punches. Those little acrylic butterflies were a gift that my blogging buddy Darnell tucked in my Christmas card this year and they're a perfect match for those sweet lilacs :) Thanks Darnell :)

We're bracing for the biggest snowfall of the year today - a possible 10 inches with high winds and bitter cold temperatures. Next week it will probably go up to 50 again, as that's how this winter has gone so far. My shovel stands ready and my back is already aching :)

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!!

Carol

Good that you got this HM out and colored it. It's adorable. Sweet butterflies from Darnell, too.

Crazy weather! It was 65 here yesterday and the high today will be 37 degrees. All I can say is, enjoy that snow. I want some. :-)

We have had quite the up and down winter so far, my friend. I am looking forward to beautiful lilacs, just like the ones on this sweet card!

Holy Moly!!!! That's going to be way too much snow!! Y'all stay safe and warm for sure. I wouldn't even bother shoveling all that snow - just wait until it melts! (Wouldn't that be nice)
Your card is so pretty Carol and think you did an outstanding job on coloring the image. SO cute!

I'm cold just reading about your possible upcoming weather. Let's hope the weatherman was drunk and unruly and completely wrong. Fun card... Gruffies or something? Anyway, a cute card and kudos to you for pulling out an old image and using it up. I hope I can find time to join this challenge. I have a new Easter HM stamp... never before seen ink.

Wow, Carol, this came out great for being on card stock that normally does not take to Copics. Love both the purple and green papers and those little butterflies are precious. A winner in my book, for sure. We are getting 10-15 inches or so they say. It is snowing very hard here right now.
