Dancin' & Drivin'

Here's my card for this week's OWH Stars and Stamps sketch challenge #200. I'm using a fun little pre-colored digi from CraftyMoments. Even though these little mice look so happy doing their little jig, I didn't want to wait for St. Patrick's day to use them, so I made a fun card for right now. The sentiment was computer generated and the paper has been in my stash for quite a while. I accented with turquoise snippets and used a MS button punch, adding some twine from Pizzazz Aplenty for the final touch.

Since I used snippets, I'll be taking this card over to the Snippets Playground week #100.

The OWH midweek throwdown was to make a masculine birthday card, but the linky tool never showed up, so I'll share my card here today instead. I used a Tim Holtz image stamped with black onyx versafine ink & embossed it with clear ep. I used a retired SU! flannel background stamp right over the top with some desert sand ink. I die cut the panel with a SB labels 18, edging with a black marker around the inside of the die before cutting. I sponged the panel with pink, blue & green Ranger inks, and added a few mini star brads. The background panels were stamped, sponged, distressed and torn, and the sentiment panel was a pre-printed piece I've had in my stash forever. Looking at an older car like this indicates the changes through the years, so I thought it would make a great birthday card for an elderly relative or friend.

That's all I have for today, so thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week ahead!

Carol

Two more winners from Carol's circle! Those dancin' mice are adorable and it looks like we both went with the same color blue. Tempting Turquoise. Love that paper and button. Your antique car is one that I could love to own. You backed it up beautifully. Wonderful guy card, especially for people in our age group. Wishing you a marvelous afternoon. Are you in withdrawal from NASCAR yet?
