A Day to Honor our Veterans

Today is Veteran's day in America. It's a day set aside to honor those who served and continue to serve, and to remember those who gave their all for their country and us. Without their sacrifice, we wouldn't enjoy the freedom we take for granted every day of our lives. Thank you to all of our brave military who have chosen the path of honor to preserve freedom. We will always remember you!

Happy Veteran's Day America!

 {Also remembering my Mother who would have turned 90 today}

Carol, thanks so much for posting this. I'm so happy that at least today, it seems like our culture is beginning to appreciate the sacrifices made by those who serve in the military. Most of these folks are so young, it's astounding to think of their ages, and their sacrifice for our freedoms. My DH wore his VNam Vet ball gap while we were out today, and so many people thanked him. It made both of us feel good. Great post. Hugs
