Pocket Pal Teddy

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted a card, and my future posts may be less frequent for a little while, but I'll hopefully get back to a more routine schedule again soon :)

This is a fun and cute Deedee Anderson pre-colored digi image called "Pocket Pal Teddy" that you can find here. Deedee included some super cute sentiments and paper to go along with this fun image! With Valentine's day rapidly approaching on the calendar, I made a card for kids that can be used for that occasion, or just to send love with a friendly "hello." All I did was add some brown cardstock to mat everything, and then punched a button from the matching dsp (actually it's 2 punched buttons glued together for strength) and tied some brown twine through into a little bow. Done!

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful Tuesday!

Carol

This came out so sweet, Carol! I love how you used the paper to make a button, too. What punch did you use to make that? I think I *need* that punch -- LOL! Thanks for sharing this -- I just know it's going to bring a smile to some precious child's face, because it sure brought one to mine!

Aw, this is just so cute. Smart you, to get a jump on the Valentine cards. That one will be here before we know it! I need to start on a few T'giving ones. Hope all is well, and you are just busy with life, not health issues or anything. Will miss seeing you as often, but we have to set priorities, and this is a hobby (or addiction...depends on your viewpoint I guess!). TFS & Hugs

I hope things are ok Carol! We all need a little break some times. I plan to post less soon too - I have to study for a certification - urgh (I am too old for this and could kick myself). Your card is so cute - I love how you made the button to match the pretty dp exactly and the image is precious! Great work! Hugz!!!

a super fast card that looks adorable. I like your idea of gluing two of the button shapes together for strength. Hugs Mrs A.

This is such a super cute card! All those hearts on the paper and the way you used the button with twine on the pocket pulls the card together so perfectly! Great card!!!
