Ride the Big Wave

I've had this Market Street stamps background done for eons and never quite knew what to do with it since I stamped it in a blue color, but I finally figured out that it worked with this "Our Craft Lounge" image. I added a Sweet 'n Sassy star border die, filled with assorted colored stars, and added a crimped panel of dsp that was lying on my desk. Remember those paper crimpers that we all have and seldom use? I added some glittered stars in a larger size done with a SU! punch and called this one done.

I'm entering this into the Shopping our Stash #116 which is "one for the boys." Let's have one last hurrah for summer before it's gone!

Thanks for stopping by, and have yourself a fabulous day!

What a cute card, Carol. Love the star border, cute image, and fab bg. I still love the crimper but never think to use it. Another tool forgotten. Duh! I'm working on organizing my embossing folders today. Didn't know I had so many.

What a cute image and I love the colors you went with. I always did love crimped pieces. I go through spurts with crimping things. Now that I've looked at this I am going to have to get my crimper out and leave it on my desk. (That is is I ever get back around to making cards. Raining here today. I assume you already got this rain. Very humid and is suppose to stay that was for at least one more day. Enjoy your day.

Really cute! I once in a blue moon (is there such a thing?) Use my crimper...like Benzi said in a comment above me...she forgets that she has one...Does that much for me to forget things these days...LOL.
Hope you are having a great week!

You were the one who convinced me to go buy a crimper! You use it so well. I love the way you used the little surfer dude. The coloring is great. I think I always color him way to dark, and I get trapped finding the right embellishments.
