Using up the Hoarded Stash

I've been digging through my stash of unused items and trying to use them up. It might take me forever to get that task completed, but one step at a time, right? :)
There's a challenge over at Shopping our Stash 111 which is "oh no, I don't really need another one!" In my case, that would be these big felt snowflakes that were the craze not too long ago. I don't even want to mention how many I still have, but I managed to use a few for these cards. I'm also entering this into Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground 183 since I used scraps of dsp to put these cards together. Card stock is by Bazzill, while the scraps are unknown. Snowflakes are by SU!, with a silver Candi Dot in the center. Sentiment is by G Studio.

Here's version 2, using different papers & card stock along with a red gemstone in the center. I'm using OWH sketch #171 for these cards - one of my favorite go-to sketches.

That's 2 more Christmas cards for my ever-growing stash, and I'll have plenty to share with different organizations this year thanks to working on them all year long!

Thanks for stopping by, and I wish you a wonderful week!

Carol

Gorgeous Christmas card, Carol. I really like the felt snowflakes and the awesome paper stripes.

I'm going to open one of your posts someday and you will be telling us you've used all your scraps. Go, Carol!!

Great Christmas cards, Carol. And good job using up your scraps. I still need to make a few Christmas cards...but I want to take a break from them for a while...(well, at least a day or two...smile) I'm trying to to do the same thing with my scraps and this last month I did put a small dent in my scraps...

Carol,
These are two very pretty Christmas cards and I do like the felt snowflakes. I don't know why, but I never got into felt. I need to take a page from your book and get started on both Christmas cards and use of scraps. I also want to make and send to several different organizations for the holidays this year so I do need to get started. I've made a pack with myself that once I sit down and start I'm going to keep going for a couple of weeks straight. I hope i can keep my word to myself. Wish me luck. Enjoy your day my friend. I've been working on the yard all morning, now need to get presentable for the day.
