Friends with Flair Friday

It's been a while since I played along with the Unity Friends with Flair challenge, but I've been heavily using this Unity sentiment lately for my OWH cards, so I thought I'd enter this card into this week's challenge. It's got a crimped star and a punched white star with a happy face stamped in midnight muse ink. I added a PTI piece of dsp, a SB ribbon tag and some ribbon from my stash. Simple and easy to put together. With all the sadness in the world this past week, I've been compelled to make "happy" cards to turn this sadness around. I made 13 cards like this using assorted card stock and dsp for our OWH heroes.

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a fabulous Friday!

Carol

Carol, what a nice batch of cards. I love all the different papers you went with here and the crimping on the star really makes a big different. Nice sentiment for our heroes and their families.

Wow! That's a bunch of cards you made for a great cause. I got that same sentiment in a Unity grab bag that I won on FWF and it's one of my favorites. Love how you used it.

Beautiful cards Carol, you've been busy girl! I have a question: Do you crimp your paper before or after cutting the star? I love using stars on masculine cards, and I like how yours look. TFS

Wonderful card set. Now I know what I am going to do with that corrugated board, I have been hanging onto. This is why I love FWF....so much wonderful inspiration!
