OWH Sketch #162

I'm starting off the week with a card I'm not too happy with! LOL It's for the sketch challenge over at the OWH Stars and Stamps blog for week #162. I'm trying to use up this pack of SU! dsp, so I used a couple pieces along with some pacific point, olive, chocolate chip, and summer starfruit card stock. The blossom-punched flower was embossed with clear detail ep, and popped up on dimensionals, with the flower centers made of cardstock. The embossing was done with a CB decorative tiles ef, and I wrapped the sentiment panel with olive and yellow twine. Hopefully someone will like this color combination when they receive the card. As for me, I'll try using this dsp with different colors next time :)

Thanks for checking in and have yourself a fine Monday!

I like it... I wonder if you'd like it more if you matted the embossed piece? Anyhow, I like the mustard and navy a lot!

It's funny how we can look at our own work and not care for it at all, but the rest of the viewing audience will see it in a different light all together. I think it is a very nice card and someone will love to receive it. Nice Job

I think you pulled it together nicely Carol. Those are hard patterns and colors to combine together but you made it work.
