Tis the Season for Giving

My counter recently turned over an incredible 100,000 hits, and I'm celebrating this amazing milestone by offering the above blog candy prize package to one lucky person who leaves a comment. I've been very fortunate to have won a lot of fabulous prizes this year, so now it's my turn to pass it on and make someone else a lucky winner. I'll leave this open for 5 days until Friday, December 7th at 5 PM. That should allow me enough time to get this package of goodies out to you by Christmas. I'm sorry, but I cannot ship outside of the US for this giveaway. One comment per person please - duplicates will be disqualified just to keep it fair for everyone.

All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me what inspires you to create cards. That's it! You don't have to be a follower, post this picture on your blog sidebar, or do anything else. The drawing will be random, and the winner will be announced on Saturday morning. You'll have 3 days to contact me with your shipping information, and if I don't hear from you, I'll draw another name.

This giveaway includes the following:

A Recollections Christmas Stamp Set
MME 6x6 Moments Paper Pad
Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two dies
SU! Northern Flurry embossing folder
EK Dimensional Flower Punch
Unity Family Tree Itty Bitty Stamp
Unity Dance in the Rain Itty Bitty Stamp
G Studio Stamp Set
MS turquoise sequins, buttons, & flowers collection
Queen & Company clear rhinestones
Recollections crocheted flowers (red)
1 spool of American Crafts ribbon

I may also throw a few other extras in by the time I'm ready to ship it out, so you might have a few surprises as well.

Thanks for giving me lots of good reasons to continue with this blogging adventure. I appreciate each and every one of you who takes time from your busy life to stop by and leave a comment :)

Good luck everyone!

Carol

WOW! Good for you! I hit a milestone this week too---stay tuned for more, LOL! You don't need to add me to your blog candy list, but I would say that other stampers like YOU inspire me to stamp...that, and the fact that there is just so much CUTE stuff out there in stampland!!! Congrats on your 100,000!

Hi Carol. Congratulations on 100,000 hits! You ROCK! Our troops inspire me to make cards. I wish I had more time to spend making cards for them. I never seem to be able to make them fast enough. In 2013, I am going to be sending cards to soldiers for their birthdays! I'm excited about that and need to get started making bunches of birthday cards! Thanks for the chance to win. You are such a sweetie!
hugs,
Ellen

Carol, Congrats on your very big accomplishment. Getting 100,000 hits is something very BIG in my book. YOU ( and other)s) inspire me every single day. There are some many wonderful reasons to make cards these days, deployed heroes, children in hospitals, the elderly who don't have big families, etc. how can we not make cards if we have the ability to do so. I'm so happy I fell into this area of crafting. I am blessed. Here's to your next 100,000 hits.
Have a wonderful day.

Wow! I spy unity in there. ;) I'm inspired knowing what a great feeling it is to get a card. You just don't get that same warm fuzzy from an email! And of course I'm inspired from the work of fellow bloggers!

What inspire me is the world around me, visiting fellow crafters blogs' and many times it's just the persom I'm making the card for (known or unknown) as I sometimes donates my cards to Charities. Thanks for the chance and for sharing your creativity with us everyday.

Congratulations on your 100,000! It's easy to see why you're blog is such a hit. I get my inspiration from other blogs. I love to see how everyone colors their images and all the yummy embellishments they use. Then when I look at my stash I see tons of new possibilities for how to use them on a card. Thanks so much for being such an inspiration!

Hugs,
Snoopy :D

Congratulations on your milestone.
For me it is not what inspired me but who. A friend that I knew for over 30 yrs. got me started making cards back in the early 90's and I have not purchased a card since then. I do look through them sometimes to get some inspiration. Love to sit down and make a card or two. What inspires me now is knowing that I am giving someone joy by remembering their birthday, anniversary, the birth of a baby and so on.

Hi Carol- congrats on so many hits! I am inspired by so many other crafters and blogs and stamps and magazines and paper! But mostly I am inspired by our troops! I so enjoy making cards for them- each card makes at least 3 people happy- me, the service person sending the card and the recipient! How is that for spreading joy!
The love of my life was in Afghanistan in 2010 and I made and sent him cards just about every day when he was deployed. I had been making cards for the troops for a few years before we even met. One nite as he watched me make cards- he said (and he is a man of few words!) "I think what you do for the military is beautiful and I would be honored to receive a card from you when I am deployed." How can you not be inspired by that? He is safely home- but I know there are many servicemen and women not home yet....so I continue to make cards!
Your prize package is incredibly generous! Here's to your next 100000!

Oh WOW I found your blog a month or so ago but this is the first time I've been allowed to sign up as a follower. I have spent some time poking around your fabulous blog and I must say it's crafters like you that inspire me in design, color combos etc. but also the person who will receive the card. It always gives me a thrill just to see that envelop in the mail box and to open it and find a card someone has taken the time to make for me gives me that warm fussy feeling inside. I just love passing on that feeling.

Congratulation on you milestone and thanks a million for the chance to win your fantastic candy.
Hugs & Blessings

What inspires me, Your blog for sure, knowing that my card making has brought joy to other people, and being able to get together in friendship with other crafters...best way to spend some time. My therapy LOL! Hope you have another 100,000 hits...Blessings, Jill

Dang, Carol, that is HUGE! I can't imagine getting to that milestone, but I sure hope so.

I'm inspired to make cards, and went into this ten years ago, because I was always a card-giver. I loved going through row-after-row of Hallmark cards, picking just the right one for this family member or that friend. I spent a fair amount of cash every month, but it was something I have always loved doing.

Then, when a coworker took me to my first SU workshop, I was hooked. Not only have I always had an artistic streak, but think of all the money I could save making my own cards! I'll wait while you LYAO!

I'm not sure what inspired me to start my blog about a year ago, but now I love that aspect so much, love making new cyber friends, and love seeing and being inspired by all the talented crafters out in the world.

Having said all that (you know I can't be terse), please don't include me in the give-away. I am so fortunate to have SO much stuff, that it just wouldn't be fair to take that chance away from someone who doesn't have as much or is just starting out.

You're the best! (You've also inspired me about another way to give blog candy w/o that bs of being a follower and forced advertising ... no offense to others who do that, just always turned me off. It never occurred to me to do it the way you are - brilliant!

All the best for the next 100K!!

Wow that is a milestone! Congrats. That's also a very yummy looking calorie free candy! What inspires me to make cards...well...I love it for one thing, getting my fingers inky, messy, creating, innovating, fun!
But I also like to think of who I'm making it for and what I want them to feel when they open it. I make lots and lots of cards for Operation Write Home...there I hope to make at least 3 people smile, the awesome shippers, the service member who picks my card to send and the final recipient of that card and that chain of love.
Surfing the web is not only fun but a great source of inspiration as well, that's how I found you!
Hugs,

Carol, thankyou for thelovely commen you lft over at the CLASSroom. Congratulations on your milestone. It is exciting isn't it?
I started stamping and paper crafting in 2004 or 5 and it has become a passion for me. Not only because I love the creative process but because it is such a great stress reliever from the stresses of my job. Punched flowers and diecuts have become a real passion for me and allows me to use the ceative skills taught by my mother growing p in her flower shop. It is fun to scale down the size and create a special and unique design that fits on a card sized palette.

Inspiration comes from many places. Mostly I'm visual, so blogs like yours which I have favorited get visited almost daily for ideas. So, thanks for being one of my muses. Thank you for this crazy opportunity!
