Puppies and Christmas - a Perfect Match

Puppies and Christmas always seem to go together well don't they? The Santa hats just take puppies to a whole new lovable level for me :)
I used this Whimsystamps digi image for my card and colored him with Copics. I added a cute stocking brad and some liquid applique on the hat and added a red bow to finish things off. The sentiment is from SNSS.

This is a gift card I made by re-cycling a card front that was sent as an advertisement in the mail. It was just too cute to throw away, so I made a long envelope to hold some lottery tickets. I added some red ribbon and that's all this needed. Sorry for the red tint on everything - I should have removed my red tablecloth before taking the photo. I tried everything to improve this photo but nothing worked very well.

Now I can unwind and relax a little bit as all the baking and wrapping is finished. I'll enjoy the next couple of stress-free days, and then we may actually have a white Christmas here in PA! It's been a long time since we've had one of those!

Enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas, Carol! That's a cute puppy and he looks a lot happier than the one I stuck the Santa hat on at my house.... Make some sweater cards - they're so much fun to do!! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Your card front is cute as pie, too. Great to recycle...much too sweet an image to discard.

Carol, This card has a very big AAAWWW factor to it. The paper goes so well with it and your bow is perfect. Your coloring, shading and liquid applique just brings this "baby" to life. Your gift card tag is darling as well. I can see the basket in the background and it looks lovely. (Just like everything you make.) I'm so glad you will have time to sit and relax this year. I'm hoping to do the same, but so far this morning I still have more to do than I'd like. Gotta Run. Enjoy my friend.
