A Traditional Red & Green Christmas Card

Today's card is for the following two challenges:

Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 137 to make a Christmas card using red & green.

The Perfect Sentiments Challenge PSC59 to create "anything goes" as long as it has a Christmas theme & sentiment on the front.

I pretty much let this pretty dsp from the MME Christmas pad do all the work for me, adding a SB poinsettia die cut with a big white dew drop in the center. I wove some white satin ribbon through the border die, and cut a few pieces for tails. The sentiment was done with an Inkadinkado stamper and I added 2 mini brads on the punched panel.

Did anyone see the 12.12.12. concert last night? What I saw was great, even though I couldn't stay awake to watch it all. I felt like a kid again, seeing some of my favorite rock stars performing! Bon Jovi & the Boss together - what a WOW moment that was! I was mesmerized with Roger Water's performance when he was doing all those old Pink Floyd songs! Great music!! And Mick Jagger - how does he maintain the ability & energy to perform like he's still 20 yrs old? Amazing! Too bad I missed Paul McCartney's performance, but I'm sure it was awesome too! It was all for a good cause, and I hope they raised lots of money for the victims of hurricane Sandy.

Ok, on to get this day started now! Thanks so much for stopping by and make it a great Thursday!

Carol

I fell asleep after a few hours. I have it recorded, but am not sure I got it all. It was to end at midnight, but Dee said it went until after 1 a.m.. Love your red and green card. Super paper!

You know, Carol, you have some pretty cool mojo juice over there, having cards just sort of "make themselves." I've got lots of thisnthat strewn about my desk, night after night this week and when I go out there in the morning, none of that crap, er craft stuff jumped together and made cards for me.

And hello? Why did I not know about the 12.12.12 concert? Sheet. I shall look for it OnDemand, so thanks for the head's up on that!!
