ODBD Challenge for OWH

Once a month, ODBD has a challenge over on the OWH Stars and Stamps blog. When we help them to reach their goal of 50 cards being made for the challenge, ODBD donates the shipping costs for two boxes of cards to be sent to our heroes, so I always try to play along. For the month of October, they're asking for circles on our cards. I used this simple design with an ATC card for the focal point, and a Hero Arts image and sentiment. I used some matching dsp and embossed the bottom layer with a CB decorative tiles ef. The mat for the ATC is a scrap of matching cardstock. I embossed the clock and sentiment, coloring the center with a matching Copic, and adding a brad. They were such a simple design that I made a stack of them for the next box I'll be sending in...

This is a great way to use those  strips of dsp left over from cutting an A2 size. With 2-sided papers, just flip the leftover piece over and you've got a card! I tried to use a different embossing folder on each of these, along with assorted papers and colors. Each card has a different time stamped on it as well - and that's just for fun :)

Thanks to ODBD for their support of OWH, and thanks to all of you for stopping by!

Carol, this is wonderful. That image and sentiment are so great (I tell my husband this al the time - I miss him every second I am away from him), but it is even better that you made so many of them and for such a wonderful cause. You have such a heart!!! Hugz!

I just commented but it disappeared in blog land. I love the sentiment and image together (something I tell my DH all the time - I always miss him). How sweet you made so many for this worthy cause. You have such a heart! Hugz!

Another wonderful creation (s) from you. You inspire me every single day, Carol, as I'm sure you do for many others also. Great colors and embossing on all of your cards today. I think I'll pull out that stamp set and get card making today. Talk to you soon.
