A Gift Set

I've been working on making some gift boxes of cards since Christmas is just around the corner! I made a matching box that coordinates with the cards using a pinwheel pattern and dsp from the MME Moments paper pad. Here's the top of the box...

And this photo shows how I decorated the sides of the box with matching dsp.

And here are the 6 cards that will go into the box with envelopes. The buttons were done with a MS punch and made of navy cardstock, so they're flat for mailing, but the box has a real button on it :) The divine twine is from Pizzazz Aplenty and it's the perfect color of yellow & white that matches all the papers. I used PTI white card stock, along with navy and dusty yellow colors. The sentiments were all computer generated and the ribbon was from my stash. Click each photo for a larger view :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Monday is a great one!

Carol, First off let me tell you that I love the color combo and your box is a fantastic delivery system for these outstanding cards. I love the pin wheels and the different ways your showcased your sentiments. You are always thinking, you even had the presence of mind to use the MS button punch for easier mailing. Whew, I wish I had your mind. Mine does not seem to work that well any more. In fact most times it seems like it does not work at all. Anyway brilliant gifts. Have a special day.

What a wonderful idea with this set. I love the pinwheel and good idea with the button punch. That button punch has to be easier than my die button. I think this is a fabulous project, Carol.
