Relaxing with a Sketch

The challenge cue card for the CASology week #8 is "relax." My mind went straight to the beach when I saw the cue card this week, and I made a simple beach scene with turquoise water, billowy clouds in a blue sky, and a sandy beach. I added a touch of diamond stickles to the edge of the beach, and some white gel pen accents to the shoreline and water. The sentiment is by SNSS.

This thank-you card is for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #50. I used a retired SU! stamp set called Love ya Bunches, coloring with Copics in colors to compliment the MME Moments dsp. The background was embossed with a CB Decorative Tiles ef, and the border was punched with a SU! fancy scallop punch. The gingham ribbon is from Pizzazz Aplenty.

Enjoy your Friday, and I wish all my American friends a great Labor Day holiday weekend!

Carol, This beach scene is phenomenal. I can just see myself sitting there watching that beautiful water. Your second card is just as sweet as can be. I love that little wheel barrel of flowers. I wish my flowers looked half as good as these do. I'm afraid mine have been neglected this year. Well there is always next year's garden to look forward to. Enjoy your weekend and find some time to relax.
