Here's a card I made for the CASology week #5 challenge. The cue card for this week is "pond." I guess we'll see frogs, lily pads and flies at the pond, so that's the idea I ran with. I kept it CAS too with lots of white space. I also made this in all green colors, so it qualifies for the Shopping Our Stash #63 weekly challenge which is to create with monochromatic colors. I shopped my stash for this very old DCWV dsp, along with a cute Technique Tuesday stamp set that includes the sentiment, flies, and lily pad. The frog is from the "All Wrapped Up" stamp set by SU!. I also used the retro sketch #23 for inspiration. I had to flip it because the frog looks better facing this way. Instead of using squares, circles or punches, I stamped the flies in 3 groups just for fun. I colored them with my neon green Copic and added some Spica clear glitter pen accents. The frog is covered with glossy accents and popped up on foam tape.
That's it for me today, but thanks for stopping by!
