Summertime Fun for HMFMC124

My card is for the House Mouse HMFMC124 challenge to use Summer Holidays and Summertime Fun as a theme for your card. I have these singing mice in front of the US flag singing the national anthem just before a good old  American baseball game! I knew this card was a hit when my husband walked by and began singing the national anthem and told me how much he liked it. LOL

I colored this with Copics, and added navy cardstock (it looks black), cherry cobbler, and electric blue. I used a long-neglected SU! corner punch that nicely frames the image, adding a ribbon tab made from matching cardstock done with a Quickutz die. The background was done with the So Trendy M-Bossability folder, and the words were hand-stamped with one of those $1 sets of wooden stamps. I added a couple ribbon tabs just for fun along the side.
Ladies and gentlemen........please remove your hats while we sing the national anthem....... :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're all staying cool in this heat wave!

Carol

Definitely makes me start to sing it, too! GREAT card! I love the broken up words across the top and the bold red and blue. Totally eye catching!
