OWH Sketch Challenge #130

Here's the sketch for OWH's Stars & Stamps sketch challenge #130......and don't laugh but........

Here is my twisted version of it :) I can't explain it, this card took on a mind of it's own as I was working on it! I flipped the sketch, altered it, and it pretty much has no resemblance to the original sketch, but it is what it is :) Mary Anne shared a whole bunch of her dsp and cardstock with me, and this card was made from with the papers she gave me! I love those fish, with an orange one here and there swimming the opposite way, so I dug out my mini fish punch and punched a few orange fish of my own. I guess my brain is firmly locked into my childhood days after using the tiddlywink on yesterday's card, because the only sentiment I could think of was GO FISH! - another childhood game I used to play! LOL I must be going through my 2nd childhood now or something............groan.
Hopefully someone will get a kick out of this one - perhaps a child who also loves to play "go fish"..........if there are any kids out there who have ever heard of this card game that is :) It might even be good for a hubby, father, or brother who enjoys fishing - it's up to the person who receives it and what he or she does with it :) I can't explain it - it just happened this way and I had nuffin' to do with it :)

Oh my, girlie, you crack me up! I found my little stash of these punched fishies, this morning, and was plotting a card. Maybe I will just have to case yours! So happy to see the paper used. I think it looks very much like the sketch. Besides, the sketches are suppose to be a jumping off point. You just had springs on your shoes!!!!!

Hi Carol! When I saw this week's sketch I thought "It's going to be fun to see what everyone comes up with for this one. The chance for whimsical cards is really good." Totally love your card, every bit of it!

Oh, that is too much fun!!!! The paper is so cute (I love the gingham paired with what looks like aged denim), the sentiment's perfect, and you may be the only person I know who has a fish punch, lol!

You know how much I tend to make cards for kids, so this really appeals to m on every level!

What a cute idea for the sketch! I had some of that fish paper. Wonder if I used it all, or if it is hiding somewhere in my stash...
