Field Flowers Birthday

I recently made this birthday card for a sweet friend who celebrated her birthday on July 4th. I found a photo of a purse in a magazine with this color combination & I used that for inspiration to make the card. I don't think I would have ever thought to put these colors together on my own, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out! I embossed the SU! field flowers image on tangerine tango with white ep, and did some faux stitching around the edges with a paper piercing tool & a white gel pen. The sentiment is by SNSS and was also heat-embossed with white ep. I used a MS doily punch for the border, and a CB ef for the chocolate chip background, and finally matted with melon mambo, adding a piece of matching ribbon.

Thanks ever so much for stopping by and enjoy your Tuesday!

Carol

Carol, this is so beautiful! The embossed flowers are just stunning and I love the doily edge punch trim and the way you used the embossed Happy Birthday on the chocolate cardstock. I wouldn't have know it was faux stitching because it looks real i the picture. BEAUTIFULLY done as always!

WOW Carol, this one is stunning. I also would have never thought of those colors together, but I love it. That stamp did nothing for me before I saw this card, now I may have to rethinking getting this one. Have a fabulous day.

Awesome color combo and I LOVE that image. Your lacy borders add so much, too. It's a beauty, Carol.
