Blinged out and Juicy!

This card was made for the saturated canary challenge #21 to bling it out, as well as the SOS #59 challenge to use an extra fold or a pleat. I chose to create the extra fold and made a "funky fold" card.
I d/l this awesome free Saturated Canary image and colored her with Copics, adding tiny gemstones and pearls to her hair to "bling her out." I love these images and might have to pick up a few more as this was so much fun to color! I outlined the SB labels 25 die cut with a fine black marker and used PTI berry sorbet card stock and ribbon. The sentiment is from HA and the bling is from Pizzazz Aplenty. This will make a great card for a young miss about to celebrate a birthday :) {I hope you can click the photo to enlarge it and see all the bling detail}

Can I hear it for the cherry-eating mice?! LOL I made this for the Simon Says Stamp challenge to make something "fruity." This House Mouse image is just too much fun!! I colored the meeces with Copics, adding some Paper Co burgundy card stock, and adding a SNSS grass die border done with PTI new leaf green. The green plaid dsp is from Echo Park, and the cherry dsp is a left-over scrap from a retired SU! pack. I used a spica glitter pen for some accents on the cherries and the mouth of the mouse on the left. I made a frame using a top note die and added a piece of burgundy colored satin ribbon with the sentiment.

I hope your Friday is going well. I just got home from a Scrapbook Expo and picked up a few new toys to play with :) Such fun :)

I hope you're having a lucky Friday the 13th, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol

Oh an Expo, I haven't been to one in a couple of years. I'm hoping to get to at least one next spring. We have a big one in New Hampshire every March. These two cards are just phenomenal. I love that little lady in your first card. Fabulous coloring and all that bling- terrific. The meeces-what can I say? You know they melt my heart. I love everything about this card. A very productive Friday for you. I have been coloring a few HM images while I'm here in California for upcoming challenges.
Enjoy your weekend my good friend.
