Sunshiny Days

This card was made for 2 challenges. The Perfect Sentiments Challenge PSC38 is "Here Comes the Sun", - to include a sunny sentiment on the front of your card. The 2nd challenge is the CAS-ual Fridays CFC59 "Round & Round" - or use 2 circles on your CAS card. It may be a stretch, but the Delicate Dahlia die I recently won from Simon Says Stamp is pretty much a circle, and the yellow brad in the center is round, so that's a circle too, right? :) I know, I'm probably pushing the buttons on this one :)

The die was cut from a piece of silver heat-embossed card stock, and I swapped out tiny pieces of different colors of card stock into the spaces for a more colorful design. The leaves were done with a crimper and hand-cut, while the sentiment was a digital from SNSS that I've had printed for ages. I hand-cut the banner underneath it to make it stand out on the white background.

Wishing you all a sunshiny day too! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Carol

That flower looks fab. In the photo, it looks like enamel. It must have taken ages to fit the jisaw together so well. Well done for your patience!

Oh, wow! Carol, I love this gorgeous flower. I'm thinking that took a bit of time to do all those pretty, colorful pieces of cardstock in the flower...but so worth it.You're being creative again. :-)

Wow a lot of tedious work on this one Carol but well worth it. I like how your made the black banner for your sentiment. That really helps to bring it to the fore front. Your color choices for your flower are all so beautiful. And I don't think you pushed it on this one, you have two circles that all you needed. Enjoy your night. Just got home from work.
