{PIN}spirations, Stash Shopping & a Color Challenge

It's been real steamy here in PA today and I've been chilling indoors in the air conditioning making cards. I played along with 3 challenges today. First up is the {PIN}spirational challenge # 12 to use this photo for inspiration:
I used some of the colors and chevrons along with the baseball theme and made this:

The image is a digi stamp by SNSS called Cocoa's Baseball Hat. Colored with Copics, and sponged with Ranger Tumbled glass, I die cut this using a labels 2 from SB. Dsp is by Echo Park, and the sentiment is from MFP. Because I used yellow and blue, I'm also entering this card into the Stars and Stamps mid-week color throwdown found here.
This card was made for the Shopping our Stash #56 which is "stuck on stickers." I dug into my stash and found these typewriter stickers and spelled "BFF" because it seemed to fit perfectly with this cute pre-colored image. I paired it with ruby red, and pretty in pink card stock, stamping the bottom border using the SU! summer silhouettes set, and embossing with the SB M-bossabilities So Trendy ef. The corners were adorned with 2mm pink gemstones from Pizzazz Aplenty.

Thanks for the visit, I hope your day is going well!

Love BOTH!
Of course I just adore Cocoa and love your coloring on this one Carol.
The second one is so pretty - and really like that embossing folder too. Great use of the stickers!
Glad you joined in on both challenges!!!

I just read on Donna's blog where you guys are having such hot weather. Just think though....winter will be here before you know it.

Since we're always hot down here, I just learn to live with it. My only problem is that it makes me sleepy!!

Carol, You are two for two today with these adorable cards. Your Cocoa card is a home run, that's for sure. Your two little BFF's are just a delight to look at. Those little gems add a special touch to your image. Let's hope it cools down real soon. Right now it's 9:30PM and still in the 80's. Good night my friend.
