For a Hero and a Child

I made this card to play along with the ISSC18 found here. My friend LeAnne of Wee Inklings had one of her cards featured for the sketch, so how could I not play along! I used some older Cosmo Cricket papers and some Cool Caribbean cardstock (yes, I'm still hoarding a few sheets of that gorgeous color!) I used a stamp set from AMuse for the image and sentiment, adding stars done with a punch and some mini stars left over from a die cut star border from SNSS. I used small & large tag punches for the image, adding some ribbon and fibers. This will be an any hero card going into my next OWH box.
This card was made for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge #37 found here. I need to make some cards for kids to help fill up my OWH box, and I haven't used this Elmo image for a while so it was time to ink him up! I stamped the background using a cardboard core and black ink. The polka dot paper is by Recollections and the sentiment is by MFP.

I hope you're enjoying a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol, Two cute cards. I love the first card for an any hero card and your second card will certainly make some youngster very happy. I remember Elmo being a favorite of lots of kids. Have a great day. Talk soon.

Can the temps stay like this for the next 3 months, please? Your Any Hero card is awesome, but I can not believe you have an Elmo stamp! Love that background you made.
