Stars & Stamps Sketch #119

Here is this week's sketch #119 from the Stars & Stamps blog.

This is a simple birthday card I made using the sketch. I used some scraps of turquoise, chocolate and kraft cardstock, running the die-cut star through my paper crimper and sponging with chocolate chip ink. I wrapped some copper cording around it for a little interest. The SNSS star scalloped border die was cut twice from turquoise and kraft cardstock, and the stars were swapped out for a little color interest. Sentiment is by SNSS done in Chocolate chip ink.
Thanks for stopping by today, and make it a great Sunday!

Carol

There you go, doing all sorts of tiny tweezer work again! Great card, love the color choice and how you wrapped the twine around the star.

I really like your color choices (especially the little turquoise stars) and the way you wrapped the large star is too, too clever!

Love Love Love this card! It's just perfect for the challenge and also a wonderful card!!

This week was a struggle for me, but in the end, after revisions, I did make two cards!

Wish mine looked half this nice!
Thanks Carol -- you have inspired me!! :)

Hi Carol - A Cameo is an electronics die-cut machine it's the newest one out from Silhouette..! A Silhouette "Cameo" and it's fabulous! I love it and have been taking a die-cut/embossing and Silhouette Class with Jennifer McGuire, which has been wonderful.

I was a Cricut user prior, but the Cameo is so much nicer and you buy only one image at a time, plus you can trace other images or create your own. I upgraded to it after having such bad results with my Cricut!!

Not to be an enabler, but should you be in the market for an electronic die-cutter, it would be my recommendation!!
