It'll Be Okay :)

Hello and a very happy Sunday to everyone! I have a couple cards to share with you today. Here is this week's Stars & Stamps sketch #109....

and here is my card. I used an image from MFT Pure Innocence, colored with Copics and used matching scraps of blue and embossed yellow card stock to put this together. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, and I just added a tiny snippet of yellow gingham ribbon to finish this simple card!

This is the 2nd card I wanted to share. It was made for the SCS QFTD100, to honor Lydia/aka Understandblue. I cased this gorgeous card in her gallery and made a similar version, using a CHF chicken wire background stamp along with  a sentiment from Northwoods. The floral image is SU!'s fabulous flowers, and it was colored with CTMH markers and hand-cut. The center flower was popped up with foam tape, adding a gemstone brad to the center. I never thought of coloring this flower blue until I saw her card, but I love how it turned out!
That will do it for me today, so I wish you all a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping by!

Carol
