Happy April Fool's Day......are you KIDDING me??

It's April 1st and April Fool's day, and mother nature certainly has played a trick on us here in PA this morning!! Just look what I woke up to!!! LOL This is looking out my back door and it was snowing like mad when I opened the curtains to face another day! The joke's on us for sure:)
I played along with the QFTD54 challenge over on SCS today. Our newest queen is Lois Bak/aka Clownmom who has the most amazing gallery of gorgeous cards! I chose this one to case and made a few changes. I love this stamp by Inkadinkado and don't use it nearly enough, so it was time to pull it from the cobwebs and create a card. I used BG wander dp and matted everything with black. The sentiment is computer generated and I pierced around the image just for a little extra added interest.
Happy April Fool's day to all of you, and I hope nobody pranks you too badly! For years I'd put salt in the sugar bowl for my DH's morning coffee, but he's wise to me now and always tastes the sugar before adding it to his coffee on April Fool's day. I'm baaaaaad, I know........and I LOVE it! :)

You're not baaaaaaaaaad - you're SPIRITED! {I love it!} I am SO sorry about all that white April Fool's confetti! {!} Soooooo not fair! We went from freezing and drenched to HEAT WAVE in like two days! {And NOW, it's HUMID!} Someone HAS a ridiculous sense of humor - that's all I'm sayin! MEANWHILE, this card IS sure to please Mother Nature: I'm quite sure! The color work is just ELECTRIFYING! This is SUCH a beautiful piece, madame! Way to combat the cold! Keep at it! SPRING willllllll get here! xoxo!

Lovely card for your case....I just used that paper for one of my stamp classes! And that snow can GO AWAY! I don't think my poor little daffodils will ever bloom!

Mother Nature certainly has a sick sense of humor. I couldn't believe all the WHITE this a.m. I'll have to email you a picture of our yard from this a.m.....there was NO grass showing through the snow.

Great card. I love that big butterfly!

...and you ARE baaaaaad with that salt thing. ;)

Hi Carol, We got the same snow you did. YUCK! I love your card. What a beautiful stamp and you colored it perfect. The piercing around the card really adds a nice finishing touch. I love the ric rak and scallops also. Nice job as usual. You didn't say if you picked another prank for this year to play on DH. Did you?

Yea, I heard from my best friend this morning about the snow back there today! Wasn't a very nice thing! Hang in there one day it will get warmer!
Happy April, my friend!

we needed the beauty of this vibrant butterfly on this snowy day.....we missed the worst of it, but did have an inch or two before the rain took it away......Mother Nature needs a kickstart....doesn't she realize it is time for SPRING

What happened to my comment...I think it just disappeared. So, I was telling you how baaaaaad you are and how that could really ruin a cup of coffee. Guess you'll have to find a new prank.
Your butterfly is gorgeous and I love your wonderful piercing.

Oh my goodness, I don't envy you all that snow. I guess you wouldn't believe we had a snow here in the deep south on my hubby's birthday several years back and that is April 5th. That was very strange for us.

Wow...I'm only like 40 minutes from you, and we didn't get any of THAT! Ugh! Nothing stuck here (thank goodness...but I'm sure yours is gone by now).

LOVELY CARD! Way to show that snow! LOL!

Happy weekend!
