Cards for Kids and a sketch challenge

I have a few cards today for the Stars and Stamps challenges. The first 2 cards are for today's MWT challenge to make cards for kids. These cards will be sent to our military serving overseas, so that they can send them back home to their children for those special holidays. The card above is a Dustin Pike digi that I colored and layered in shades of plum and purple. I took the picture at an angle so you could see the glossy accents I added to the balloons.
This card was done with an adorable bunny image that Sandy created and offered for free on her blog recently. I used some flowers, papers, ribbon, and a tag from my stash to create this one.
And finally, this is the sketch #61 from the S&S blog. For this I used SU! navy and white dp, along with a blossom die-cut flower and a SU square lattice ef. The tiny flowers were done with the MS hydrangea small flower punch. The sentiment is by SU and the button brad was from my stash.
As always, thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great Wednesday!

Carol

Oooh...three cards! You've been busy! Have to say my favorite is the first one - because purple is my favorite color - and I'm a sucker for glossy accents. :)

Carol, I'm sorry I'm so late with my posts today. I love all of your cards. Dustin Pike is just adorable and I love the colors you went with. Everything goes so well with the paper. Great idea to put your ribbon on an angle like that. I've angled in the corners, but never cross the middle. I like that and I'll have to copy it. The glossy accents show up nicely. Good photography. Hipppit Hoppity is precious. I love the flowers you added and your grass. The tag is also a good find from your stash. You Sketch #61 card came out beautiful. I love the colors (I just got more Night Of Navy in yesterday. It is a very elegant CAS card. I can't believe you did multiple cards for this week. I thought all day about doing several different cards this week also. We do think alike. I am going to work on one tonight for slightly older kids (tweens). Talk to you later. Hugs

Wonderful cards for a worthy cause. Good for you, Carol. I love them all.
Ooh, I felt bad when you told me you hadn't seen your almost one year old grandchild yet. That hurts, I'm sure.

I see you got in some playtime! All 3 are just marvelous! As I type, we are having a heavy snow shower that is coating things. What an interesting Spring this is going to be.
