My first card is for the Crazy 4 Challenges 50 where Frances asks us to add music to our cards, with bonus points for an Elvis image. Sorry to say I don't have any Elvis images, but I think my card puts you in the mind of music! I used a free digi image from Birds Cards for this card and colored with Copics (I'm learning and have very few of those pricey gems, so excuse the poor shading). I punched the stars and embossed them along with the red background using the SU! square lattice ef, then added some Geo Sparklers stickers on the guitar and stars. I used the Nestabilities labels 4 dies and the sentiment is a sticker.
Next up is a card for Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #16 where Joanne challenges us to use a flower on our card. No problem!!! I love flowers and always find them easy to work with when making a card. For this, I used the Fifth Avenue Florals from SU! stamping them on shimmer cardstock, and embossing with white ep. Then I spritzed the flowers with water, and added droplets of reinker and watched the color spread all by itself! I used shades of orange, yellow and pink for this. The sentiment was computer generated and punched with the word window, then attached with an eyelet and copper cording. For the final touch I added some stickles in the stamens and flower centers.
Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a wonderful weekend!
