QFTD14

I made this card for the QFTD14 challenge over at SCS. This week zgirlsgranny (aka Linda) was chosen to wear the crown and we cased a card from her gallery to honor her. I chose this card and replaced the black with plum pudding, changed the sentiment panel, and used different embossing folders. I also used a layered butterfly instead of a flower in the main panel. I really like how this one turned out!
I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far!

Very nice, Carol, at first glance I thought it was black and white...I like the Plum and white together...very striking...
In regard to your comment on my blog...I have SEEN your craft room...it's very nice. I don't think I will ever show you mine...smile...unless I get it organized...Miracles do happen you know. I can only hope...

Such a beautiful card, Carol! I love this sketch and the combination of all the different embossing designs.. It creates such wonderful texture. You truly made this card your own. Great job on the challenge.
