A Failed Challenge

I was playing along with a challenge when I made this card, but after I finished it, I realized the sketch had four square panels on the left side instead of the three I used. Ah well, Momma said there would be days like this!
I used River Rock card stock along with some intensely hoarded retired Apple Cider dsp from SU! The stamp was from a $1 bargain bin I found several years ago, but it's one of my favorites. I paper pieced the flower images with some polka dot DP and added some white dew drops to the centers. The sentiment is by Verve and the rest is pretty basic.
It's going to be a steamy one here in PA today, so stay cool wherever you are and have a fabulous Wednesday!

You may be disappointed that you did not do the sketch exactly the same...but you should not be disappointed with this card...Very nicely done...

What do you mean failed challenge..it's your take on it and if I look hard enough I see four squares. It's cute so there. Pat
We're super hot here in Michigan too.

Oh Carol, there are no failed challenges, there are creative opportunities! I love the cards you've been making, they're fabulous!

You left a comment on my blog about not having any Copic markers. Oh my.. when you start collecting them they're $3.95 ea at Carpe Diem dot com - I'm an enabler, sorry ;)

No worries....four squares, three squares...it's beautiful! I love that color combo.

It WAS a scorcher today. It's almost 9 p.m. and it's still hot in the house.
