Something for Dad

The challenge this week over at Crazy4Challenges is to create a masculine card. This card is going to OWH since they need their cards well in advance. It was difficult to photograph this card with all the shine but this was the best I could do. You'll have to take my word for it that it looks much better IRL.
I started out with 3 blocks of scrap cardstock and covered them with aluminum foil, taping to the back. I ran them through the Big Kick with a Cuttlebug diamondplate ef and added some Thickers letters to spell out the word DAD. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink, and embossed with silver ep on top of a piece of black PTI dsp. A little piece of checkered ribbon was added for interest.
Thanks for stopping by today, I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

I tried to leave a comment earlier but couldn't for some unknown reason. Just wanted to tell you I tried your tin foil diamond plate idea, it's really neat! Also joined you as a follower today.

YOU are so talented you crafty lil' craftress! What an excellent MAN-CARD! I love your idea of using real foil and that fantastic Cuttlebug folder! I had to have that thing - HAD TOO! And yet, I never remember to use it! This is a fabulous feature of it, I'll say! Thanks for sharing this awesome card and the great cause you created it for!
