Today's challenge over at Our Creative Corner is to make something with a "music" theme. I pulled out a couple of music-related stamps and a scrap of DP and went to work. I stamped the top of the kraft cardstock base with the PTI text backgrounder in River Rock ink, then used the musical note with versamark to stamp several images over top of the text. I die cut the sentiment panels with the Nestabilities labels 4 and outlined them both with a gold deco pen while they were still in the dies. I embossed the musical note with gold ep and cut it out using an oval punch, and a scalloped oval punch. I doodled around the scalloped edges with a black marker and a gold deco pen. I added some black grosgrain ribbon and tied on some gold cording for an accent.
Thanks for a great challenge and thanks for popping in today. Wishing everyone a fantastic and WARM weekend. The boys of NASCAR will be firing up next weekend for the duel shoot-outs and I can hardly wait to hear the roar of those engines! Woot!!
