A Double Dasher Challenge

I made a quick and easy card for today's Color Throwdown Challenge #69, and the Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge #255. The CTD challenge was to use Chocolate Chip, Dark Red, Cream and an optional Olive green. I started with a PTI Vintage Cream cardstock, and stamped Dasher using Chocolate Chip, and some champagne shimmer paint on the antlers. I added a few gold Geo sparklers for interest and gave Dasher a red nose with a dab of red Smooch. I used the SU ef for the red background and some SU chocolate chip and cream striped ribbon. The red & gold ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is from the Snow Swirled set stamped in Real Red and more of the Champagne shimmer paint. All the edges were sponged with chocolate chip.
I wanted to make a quick card today, since we're going to doggie-sit for our neighbors again today for a few hours. Their dachshund "Maddie" is just as sweet as can be and we love having her here to "visit" :)
Have a great Wednesday!!

Carol

Well, this is simple but very, very striking! I love that you used the ribbon as the panel itself in the sketch! I never know quite how to use that ribbon on a card, but this is perfect. I may just have to case this one!!!
