Crazy for Challenges #13

Today's challenge over on the C4C13 blog is to get punch happy. In other words, use a punch or punched image on your card. I finished this card today after being inspired by LeAnne's cute card she posted on her blog recently. I knew instantly this would be a fun card my granddaughter would enjoy, so here's the finished product!
I started with the top note die, cutting one from white and one from red. The hat was sponged with white ink to make it look like fur. I used a sizzix die cut for the leaf branch, and added a flurry felt snowflake with a gemstone in the center. The ribbon is from Michaels and I made a matching bow-tie with the bow-easy just for fun. The eyes and mouth were made with oval and circle punches and sponged with caramel ink. The nose was a scrap of orange that I doodled on to look more like a carrot and the cheeks were drawn in by hand. I used a white deco pen to accent the eyes and mounted it on a piece of real red cardstock. I think Cory is going to love this little guy almost as much as I do :)
Thanks for a great challenge and thanks for stopping by! I hope to get another card posted later today.
Have a great weekend!!
