MMSC18 and CC235

This card was made to meet two challenges. The first one is the Midnight Madness sketch challenge #18 found HERE. Second was the color challenge #235 found HERE to use eggplant, olive and black. I used some old ribbon brads in my stash to string the embroidery thread. I also used the Forest Branch Cuttlebug ef on the olive b/g. I didn't have any eggplant cardstock, but I had an eggplant marker, so I worked in the eggplant that way. I colored the image with Tombows and pierced and faux stitched it. I used lavender chalk on the white spaces of the image after coloring. I used the party punch stamp set with the tab punch to create the white embossed panels on the ends of the card. I layered a flower underneath each tab punch for interest. I don't think I've ever seen a sketch quite like this, so I enjoyed the challenge and especially the great Halloween colors.
I hope your Tuesday is a fantastic one for you now that the long holiday weekend has passed. Thanks for checking in today, it's always nice to have you drop by :)
