Happy Birthday Danny!

Today is my friend Danny's birthday and he should have received this card by now, so I can post it without spoiling his surprise! If you or Connie are reading this, happy birthday my friend!
Danny rides a motorcycle that's close to the teal color of this card, so that's how this card began. I embossed the dark teal panel with a diamondplate ef and added light and medium shades of teal cardstock for appeal. The silver panel is a piece of embossed metallic paper I found at a LSS for less than $1, but I knew it would work perfectly for a card one day. I added some pewter eyelets in the center and pierced holes on both sides, whip stitching by hand with black thread. The sentiment panel was done with the Just-Rite stamper and the center contains a big brad from SU along with a silver button from my stash, and it's tied with a piece of turquoise embroidery floss. The white circle and scalloped panel were both cut with Nestabilities.
I hope you're enjoying your special day Danny...............may you enjoy many more as well!
Happy Sunday everyone, thanks for checkin' in with me today :)

Carol
