Three Clovers #22, Christmas in July

The challenge over at Three Clovers this week is to do a Christmas in July card - something that someone who lives in a warmer area might send for Christmas. This was the only image I had that remotely resembled Christmas in a warm climate. Michelle, the owner of StampersDream.com, sent me this stamped image last year and this challenge seemed like the perfect time to use it. I colored it with Tombow markers and added some Geo Sparklers for snowflakes in the sky. The dsp is SU! retired Holiday Treasures and the cardstocks are Ruby Red and Baja Breeze. The sentiment is a stamp from a retired set called Many Merry Messages. I added a touch of liquid applique to the hat and hit it with a heat gun to look like fur.
Thanks for stopping by today and have yourself a wonderful Thursday!

Carol
