FTTC22

The Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge this week is to use chalks. I only have a small selection of pastel chalks, so I use them on black because they show up better. I used the sweet pea stamp for this card and layered it with Nesties on black and Aqua Mist cardstock with Blush Blossom as the base. I stamped it in versamark and embossed it with white ep, then colored in with chalks. I added a bow, some Blush pearls, stamped the sentiment and this was done in less than 1/2 an hour! The phone rang just as I was stamping the sentiment and I stamped it a little crooked. ARGH!! I hate when that happens, but hopefully the recipient won't notice!
Thanks for dropping by today, make it a great Tuesday!

If you hadn't said anything about the sentiment, I would not have noticed....I was too busy looking at that wonderful color combo and pretty image. I want to do this challenge too....I have been up to my ears in CTD stuff!!! Hopefully tonight!

Very nice card. I have never tried chalking on black, but your project looks so nice that I have to give it a try. Loved the bow and pearl accents.

Lovely card and I also love the use of the chalk on a dark color. Pat
