Viva La Verve, May week 2

I made this card for the Viva La Verve sketch challenge with a twist {May, week 2} found here. This week's twist is to use the color combo of blue and green. I love blues and greens together, especially royal blue and lime green, but of course I don't have any cardstock in those colors! LOL I chose Ballet Blue and Certainly Celery for this card, and I used white as my neutral. I colored the image with blended reinkers and a blender pen and touched it up with markers. I tried real hard to add the brads on the left side as the sketch shows, but with those punched borders, they got lost on the card so I eliminated them and used a single flower with a tiny button instead. I took a negative piece from the punched borders and stuck it on the bottom corner for balance.
Thanks for stopping by on this Friday, it's always nice to see you again. Don't look now, but the sun made a brilliant appearance here today!!! It's been a while since we've seen it and I hope it sticks around for a while longer too :)
