KSCC#13 Running with Scissors!

Good Afternoon! My yard work is completed and only one more big chore to do...paint door trim...ewwww! But that can be done anytime, so it's time to get back to doing challenges and making cards. Had a hard time getting going, forgot how to stamp over the last month! My mojo will come back eventually, but I wanted to do a card for the Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge, located here. It's one of my favorite challenges! This set is the itty bitty tulips, I just LOVE it!

I stamped the vase on velum with metallic inks, then went over it in Pearl Ex, to make a sparkly vase. If you click either picture, you'll be able to see more detail. I liked the idea that you could see through it, just like a regular one. The tulips were a couple of different shapes, and I stamped the stems and then cut everything out separately. All were adhered to the card with dimensionals of various sizes. I used SU cardstock and SU DP for the base, then used DCWV paper, from the recycled line of cardstock, for mounting the vase on. Also used my nesties. The wording is from the Kitchen sink rose set. Made the lace with a punch and I was done.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking! Have a wonderful week and have fun stamping!
