VLVApr04 challenge with a twist

This is my take for the VLVApr04 challenge with a twist. The twist this week was to create your own designer paper with a stamp. I used a very old stamp set by Technique Tuesday called Metro Squares. The stamp I used is a small square, and you have to carefully align the edges to create this continuous pattern. Why do my hands shake when I'm trying to be so careful?! LOL Ah well, I'm not perfect and never will be. There are places where I missed but the fibers covered some of that up :) The star was cut in 3 colors using a Sizzlet and layered. I used the centers for the little stars that surround the main panel. The silver sticker stars were from a $1 bin. I used Eggplant and Prisma papers in the light majestic purple color. The sentiment is by Imaginise and was embossed with white EP.
Ok, that's it for me.........have a great weekend everyone and enjoy the return of spring!
