Flowers for Mother

Good Morning :) I have another Mother's day card to share with you today. This image is called Sunflower in Pitcher and it's by Northwoods. I really took this image beyond my own expectations! LOL I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink, and embossed it with clear detail ep, then colored it with Tombows. I added some flower soft to the centers, added various shades of stickles for highlights and popped up a separate stamped butterfly on one of the flowers. If you click on the photo, you can see the detail of that butterfly.....it got lost in the colors of the flowers! I sponged the edges, then pierced and distressed them before matting. I pierced a tiny bit on the sentiment panel and added a long-hoarded Heidi Swapp gemstone. It sparkles way more than this photo shows.
Thanks for stopping by, and remember that Mother's Day is next week, so you'd better get those cards finished and in the mail soon!
Have a wonderful Thursday and thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment :)

Oh WOW! I've worked with this image but I'M LOVIN' how you added the dark blue stickles to the water and vase. That looks TERRIFIC!...you brought it to life!
